The things you say

The things you say have an impact on those close to you. Use your words carefully.

1. Don't be wrong. If you aren't sure if what you are saying is correct, then whomever you are talking to needs to know that you are unsure.
2. If you are wrong, admit it quickly and gracefully. Don't be ashamed to admit you've made a mistake, we all do it. Being able to accept that and move on is a sign of true strength.
3. Your word is your bond. If you say you will do something, then do it. Period. Sure, sometimes things happen or you find out some new information and all of the sudden it's not such a great idea anymore. But understand, someone you care about is counting on you so if you have to change course, it better be for a good reason.
4. Never lie. You can't ever trust a liar or a thief, and often times they are one and the same.
